Robert Martinelli
Co-Founder and Principal
Tax Planning Team Lead
Robert Martinelli is a Certified Tax Strategist, Former big 8 CPA and corporate CFO.
His wake-up call came in 2000 when his father's estate dwindled
from $1.8 million to just $147,000 after losses and inheritance taxes.
Although his father had a Stock Broker, CPA and Estate Planning Attorney, he learned
two things from this experience: First, these professionals blamed his father:
He was supposed to know what to do and when to do it. And second, because they did not speak to one another, no
one had a clear understanding of his parents’ financial situation or the
liabilities that my brother and I would incur.
The day he wrote those tax checks to the IRS, he made a
promise that he would never let this happen to any of his clients.
Robert takes great
pride in knowing that he helps his clients eliminate taxes and build generational wealth.
D. Scott Kenik
Co-Founder and Principal
Cash Flow and Asset Protection Specialist
D. Scott Kenik began his career in the insurance industry in 1995. He then spent several years educating financial advisors at firms such as Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley, Prudential and many others on 401(k) plan design, and later worked at Metropolitan Life helping to develop a new retirement program.
When he founded Wealth Concepts Group, LLC, he chose to specialize in retirement planning after seeing his parents struggle with market volatility.
His goal then—and now—is to design retirement strategies that deliver stock-market-like returns without market risk, while helping retirees create safe, dependable lifetime income streams.
Education is a cornerstone of Scott’s practice, and he has written four financial books to support that mission. His book 'No-Stress Retirement Roadmap' is an Amazon #1 bestseller.
James Dangelo
Tax Planning Associate
James Dangelo entered the retirement planning field after his
firsthand experience with market volatility raised important questions about
the limits of traditional strategies. Seeking more dependable solutions, he
pursued advanced education in risk management and insurance-based planning,
with a focus on how these tools can support reliable, long-term retirement
income when used appropriately.
Jim built his expertise under the mentorship of Robert
Martinelli, with whom he has worked closely for many years. Through this
collaboration, he developed a planning-first philosophy that emphasizes tax
strategy, coordination, and the client’s full financial picture—never
product-driven recommendations.
Jim works as part of a coordinated advisory team,
helping clients implement strategies that align with a comprehensive,
tax-efficient retirement plan.
